Johny specializes in black and grey realism, fine line, blackwork, portraits, and custom lettering. His work has earned him accolades at tattoo conventions, especially awards for pieces done on the spot. The same graffiti work that defined Johny's adolescent years also led to a short time spent incarcerated- an experience that would ultimately shape his highly sought-after tattoo style today. In an environment that stripped the craft down to its essentials, where resourcefulness and raw skill were critical, Johny turned pen to paper into ink to flesh and found his final medium. He afterwards doubled down, honing his raw talent in various tattoo studios in San Antonio before moving to Austin, where he proudly tattoos today.
